Experienced beginner- I can paddle independently and pop up on small broken or green faced waves.

Advanced beginner: I Can confidently paddle onto and catch green faced waves 1-3 ft. I may be able to initiate a turn.

Intermediate- I can confidently select, paddle onto and catch green faced waves with full control initiating turns and compressions. 2-4ft waves.

Advanced- I can surf in most conditions with full control on a variety of boards. I understand the lineup, can select, paddle for and take off on most waves with full control almost all of the time. I could surf competitively . 4-8ft+ waves
